In India, women’s empowerment has been a key issue for many years. Despite some progress in recent decades, women in India continue to face significant challenges when it comes to gender equality. Various studies, as well as our experience, have shown that when we work towards women empowerment, the whole society benefits. But unfortunately, in India, far from empowering women, most are denied even their basic rights like health, education for girls.

Fostering women's autonomy for comprehensive societal progress through active participation in all spheres, promoting health, and achieving gender parity.
Our Focus Areas:

Safety is paramount. We equip girls and women with self-defense techniques, ensuring they can protect themselves and stand up against any form of threat.
We offer vocational training programs in sewing, beauty, candle making, and small business management. These skills not only boost self-confidence but also create pathways to financial independence.
Our training goes beyond skills; we nurture the entrepreneurial spirit. We provide women with the tools and knowledge to start and manage their small businesses, fostering economic self-sufficiency.
Empowerment also involves taking care of physical and mental well-being. AFLF is committed to raising awareness about women's health issues and providing the necessary resources for their overall wellness.
